Rome seen by Karl Lagerfeld for a wild show

Rome Vue Par Karl Lagerfeld Pour Une Expo Dingo

It’s been nearly 50 years that Karl Lagerfeld has been working with the prestigious Roman house Fendi. So it’s not very surprising that the designer is so attached to the « eternal city».

Pegged to the restoration of the cult Fountain of Trevi financed by the luxury label, the Kaiser  photographed the most beautiful fountains of the Italian capital. Superb photos to discover until 14 July in settings set up on the Seine embankments under the Pont Alexandre III bridge.

To see also: the film Histoire d’eau, a short that dates back to 1977, showcasing the first collection of Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi.

We like: a very dolce vita atmosphere to the sound of Vivaldi  music and the sputtering of the water from the fountains.
