Weird, intriguing, troubling, disgusting and even revolting or simply amusing, one thing is for sure the 80 creatures showcased at Gaîté Lyrique will not leave you indifferent.
These fashion monsters stem from the wild imagination of the most inventive fashion designers of the moment, from Maison Martin Margiela to Alexander McQueen including Issey Miake, these artists question in their own way the notion of beauty and identity.
We navigate with surprise, stupor and amusement inside an immaculately white in contrast with the bright colors of these improbable looks all totally zany. The back of the room leads to a black space from where creatures have escaped … even more surprising ! A playful and totally offbeat show not to be missed.
