5 coffee shops dog friendly in Paris

No fewer than 100,000 dogs happily roam the streets of Paris! Enough to push their owners to favor 100% dog friendly places to live, which welcome and pamper pups of all sizes and styles. That’s the case with these 5 coffee shops tested and approved by the Do It In Paris mascot, and which have turned the coffee break into a true lifestyle… even offering a real menu of treats created just for them!

Le Bone Appart

The spirit: it took an American woman to launch such a cool and sincere dog business. Originally from New York, now Parisian by adoption, Rebecca has made her Marais shop a true meeting point for expats (and others!) in the neighborhood. “Some even stay all day!” she laughs. In addition to coffee and its little terrace, we love the selection of plush toys (croissant €15, Lollipops €18, cigarettes €26), sombreros (OK, we almost caved) and berets for dogs that have become the Bone Appart’s signature gift (€18). A feel-good HQ guarded by Napoleon, the owner’s gorgeous greyhound.

What do we order? The cakes for humans are homemade, and we can tell you the lemon brownie with its frosting is a true banger (€4), unless you prefer the matcha cookie or the banana bread (€5). The chic treats for pups are made by Compagnon, and it’s hard to choose between the croissant-shaped biscuits or the veggie pupcakes or larger ones with chicken. Spoiler: they’re served in little cases, like precious jewels… Your dog will appreciate.

Le Bone Appart, 9 rue de Birague, Paris 4e. Open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and weekends from 9am to 5pm.

Seven Heaven

The spirit: Anne-Sophie made River, her beloved golden retriever, the logo of her adorable coffee shop whose lemon yellow façade brightens the 11th arrondissement. To set up your laptop, chill at lunch break or brunch with friends, Seven Heaven acts as a real hideout where you can sit with or without a pup, any time of the day. Let’s say that its tasty little dishes, specialty coffees and colorful lattes have now become a neighborhood reference!

What do we order? Yum: you’ll love the addictive waffles to top with two toppings of your choice (maple syrup, nocciolata, fruit, pralines… €12), scrambled eggs served with toasted bread, feta and avocado with optional halloumi, smoked salmon or bacon (€13), and the pastries of the day. Here, latte art is no joke: matcha, pink, black, chai, crème brûlée or coffee, they feature beautiful designs like a signature teddy bear. Cool in iced version: the ube latte, this crazy kawaii, all-purple drink from the Philippines. Dogs are also entitled to their puppyccino: a lactose-free cream, whipped without sugar and served with a small treat (€1). Too cute!

Seven Heaven, 17 rue de la Forge Royale, Paris 11e. Open Wednesday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 5pm.

Barkers & Brothers

The spirit: it's the shop all dog lovers secretly dreamed of! The perfect project of Marie Dardaine, former ad pro and mother hen of Ralph, her Akita and shop mascot? An Eden for spoiled dogs perched on a cute little square in Montmartre. You can grab accessories (leashes, harnesses, coats, Monsieur Hardi carriers, baskets, crochet toys, bowls…) or come to give your dirty pup a bath with, available, a bathtub/shower, shampoos, hair dryer, brushes and combs (€29). To top off the fun, you settle into the coffee shop offering treats for dogs and their owners.

What do we order? For the animals: Puppuccino® (€3 + toppings €1), Doggy ice cream (€4) and dog biscuits. For us: matcha latte, cappuccino, flat white, lemonade and iced tea (€4.50) to go with a cookie (€3.50) or a cake of the moment (€4.50).

Barkers & Brothers, 8 rue Androuet, Paris 18e. Open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 7pm, and Sunday from 10am to 1pm.

Grave

The spirit: a “neighborhood café” just how we like them, attracting all the fashion crowd of the Marais who love its ultra-aesthetic decor mixing retro codes in 2025 mode (chrome tables, crystal chandelier, blood red walls…). On-site, only two seats at the counter and a few terrace tables to share a sweet snack with your doggo.

What do we order? At Grave, the stars of the menu are the gorgeous soft serves like Italian-style ice cream, vegan with coconut water and activated charcoal, chai, açai or matcha (€4.50). Also great: homemade pastries baked daily in the tiny back kitchen, including a delightfully creamy Basque cheesecake (€6), a top-tier cinnamon roll, scones or a black sesame and chocolate cookie (€3.50). To drink, go for trusted favorites like the cappuccino (€4.80) or the iced coffee (€5) from Cayo, a Parisian roaster, and even some rare gems we love like the London Fog (€5.80), Hojicha latte (€6) or Sobacha with buckwheat (€4.80). And for the dogs finally: Puppyccino (€2.50) and Doggy biscuit (€1.50) on the menu!

Grave, 34 rue des Gravilliers, Paris 3e. Open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm and weekends from 9:30am to 6pm.

Casa del Doggo

The spirit: in the Auteuil area, the shop of Clara and Lucas (and Ulk, their adorable mascot) takes on the air of a playground for pups. In a pop decor with bright coral walls, dogs roam around unleashed, greet each other, climb on the couches and almost knock over their owners' drinks: a joyful mess with communicative good vibes, allowing animals (and humans!) to socialize safely. You won’t leave without grabbing treasures for small and large pups (fluffy sweaters in all colors, pop silicone collars, all kinds of treats…), not to mention taking advantage of the handy, fully equipped dog wash (€25 for 30 minutes, €45 for one hour).

What do we order? Once introductions are made, grab an iced latte (€6), a cappuccino (€5) or a double espresso (€3.50) and watch your cookie or chocolate muffin carefully. For distraction, the little rascals won’t be left out with donuts (€4) and cute, low-calorie cakes made just for them every morning.

Casa del Doggo, 13 rue Pierre Guérin, Paris 16e. Open Wednesday to Friday from 11am to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
