Granite Citron Denny Imbroisi

We count its restaurants in Paris among our favorite Italians. A table in the sun, the latest recipe book from Denny Imbroisi , former Top Chef candidate, was one of the most anticipated events of this fall.

Promise kept with its extraordinary
granita with Menton lemons to be prepared in 15 minutes flat. His secret? No particular feat other than ensuring great sourcing for its lemons!

Recipe for 6 people.


500 g lemon juice

the zest of 1 Menton lemon

500 g of water

250 g of caster sugar

zest of 1 lime


Boil the water with the sugar. Off the heat, add the lemon juice and grated zest. Pass the water-sugar-lemon mixture through a very fine colander. Let cool.

Put the preparation in a suitable container and store in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours. Every 30 min, scrape the mixture for a few seconds to obtain a grainy texture.

At the last moment, grate the lime zest on the granita , mix and serve very cold.
