Picture this : a majestic gate which, once crossed, reveals a small château hidden among the trees, promising a moment of calm and harmony. That’s exactly the feeling you get the moment you set eyes on Hôtel Verneuil La Douce, located just outside Paris.
Acquired by Camille Omerin, former fashion designer and founder of the brand Maison Père, this extraordinary property has been transformed into a true ode to art, the result of a collaboration with seven artists who helped create a whimsical, dreamlike universe.
Here, every detail matters: artworks covering the walls, bespoke furniture designed from Camille’s sketches, the exclusive signature scent “Cèdre Rose”, wall frescoes and a carefully curated soundtrack.

At restaurant Le Patiné, Chef Cyril Coutin showcases the best of Normandy’s local produce through refined gastronomic cuisine: Oreiller de la Belle Aurore, roasted scallops, veal fillet, and even an impressive cheese trolley you’ll be talking about for days. In the morning, head downstairs for a generous, locally sourced breakfast, the perfect way to start the day before exploring the charming village of Verneuil, or perhaps hunting for treasures at the nearby XXL flea markets (we brought back some real gems during our last visit…).
