Around the Jardin du Luxembourg
It's neither really in Saint-Germain des Prés nor still in the Latin Quarter, its perimeter that quietly expands around the Luxembourg gardens, surrounded by the noisy rue de Rennes bustle, the elegance of the rue Saint Sulpice and majestically dominated by the Panthéon monument on the other side.

Lunch at the Salon du Panthéon
A great occasion for name-dropping: we are here in the café-salon above the Cinéma du Panthéon movie house, hosted by the owner of the Why Not, the production house of Despleschin and Audiard. The decorating was left in the hands of Christian Sapet and Catherine Deneuve who chose, with great talent, to revisit a bourgeois living room of the 70's: glass coffee table, leather poufs, XXL lamps, beige velvet. Total success. A very pleasant terrace where you can sit all year-round because equipped with polar plaids and warming mushroom lamp-posts. In the plate, very fresh, salads and well-composed plates - though sometimes a little iffy.
Count about 30 EUR
(thanks Yasmina for that smile)
