Le Progrès is a little like a Right Bank Café de Flore, a meeting place for socialistas and VIPs that replaces an old timer soul-filled bar where you could play the horses. 

We love : its furiously « typically Parisian » style.

Who shows up ? Melvil Poupaud, Hélène de Fougerolles, Florence Foresti, ADs and super-trendy stylists, the team from GQ,  Baron…

When to go there ? For happy hour, you bet! Starting at 7pm, until closing time until 2am, well-sheltered under the heating elements. On the program: pints of beer, glass of Chablis, croque-monsieur and all sorts of small Poilane tartines.
