The Maison du Fontainier : the story inside the story!
Unbeknownst to many Parisians, this reservoir offers only the upper floor in terms of a house-- aside from its appearance, -- that served as lodgings for the fountain keepers of the King, in charge of managing the waters of Paris. A real curiosity that goes back to Henri IV, instigator of the project, to be discovered during an outing at the heart of secret historic Paris and that continues underground with the Médicis aqueduct.... Quite simply fabulous and « incredible »! For more details, rendez-vous in the gardens of the Observatoire of Paris in the 14th arrondissement.
