A mediterranean hot house is hidden in Stalingrad

Decoration of the heated greenhouse of the Rotunda of Stalingrad in an old boat parquet with wicker light fixtures, dried flowers and mozzarella pizza, truffle cream and glass of wine

Come snow, hail or storm… Never mind! Here is a small corner of summer paradise that is going to heat up your winter and immerse you in a tropicool atmosphere.
Christophe Poligani, the Corsican chef of Gustu, has taken over the heated hot house of La Rotonde de Stalingrad. An ideal venue to share a yummy pizza around a glass of typical Corsican verre wine on the terrasse...

A truly enjoyable decor

Christophe Poligani launched into cooking when he landed in Paris. His idea ? Combining his Italian and Corsican origins with his love for great food—fascinated since forever by his mother’s home-made concoctions.

He has many projects in mind. His latest? Expanding his darling restaurant, Gustu, right under the heated hot house of La Rotonde. A 60 m2 espace he did not hesitate to appropriate himself with and presenting a cosy decor: large tables and vintage furniture, for 100 % comforting Corsican evenings.

Between the adorable lanterns, the large luminaries in wicker, the handsome craftsmanship bouquets of dried flowers signed Flowrette, the old boatdeck parquet floor and the soft dimmed lighting… No doubt, you will spend a wonderful evening.

Corsica on the menu

À la carte: ultra sourced products that have made the trip Corsica-Paris just for us. Understand: charcuterie and cheese, house bread, camembert di bufala roasted over the fire and AOP Corsican honey by Pierre Carli (€14)… But the must is the braided pizza crust covered with suckling pig, mozzarella fior di latte and cream of truffe (€11), with the possibility of a veggie version. Without forgetting the seasonal chestnut house houmous (€9). #Passion

All these delights are to be shared with buddies around a glass of wine from the great selection of Corsican wine producers. On the menu: a dozen organic and naturals wines (starting at €5 for a glass of 12 cl), three Corsican beers (€7 a pint) and excellent spirits. Heart throb for the liqueur de Myrte (€5).

And for diehard revellers: the party is never over, continue the evening during the weekend by going to kick up your heels on the dance floor of the Refuge club, around the corner! More info on larotondestalingrad.com/miniclub/.
