Paris is embracing its Italian side — and so is Beaumarly! The Costes group (Thoumieux, L’Aventure, Les Jardins de Presbourg…) is channeling pure dolce vita with the opening of Cassaro’s, a dazzling new restaurant right in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Andiamo, amore!
A cinematic setting

The Germain is gone — long live Cassaro’s! Benvenuti to 1960s Milan, where Sinatra played softly in chic dining rooms filled with tailored suits, flowing gowns and generous plates of pasta. This new hotspot for well-heeled Parisians is named after Hugo Cassaro, already at the helm of Thoumieux, who envisioned an elegant, retro-inspired space that still feels perfectly current. Lacquered wood, olive-green velvet, candlelight, crisp white tablecloths, extravagant Murano glass chandeliers and patterned carpeting give the restaurant a truly cinematic allure. Stunning. Coming soon: the opening of a private club to extend the magic well into the notte.
A true show on the plate
From the beautifully designed menu to the warm, knowing service, every detail has been carefully thought out. The mortadella, stracciatella and pistachio pizzetta (€22) is served proudly on a raised stand, rivaling the fried calamari with spicy mayonnaise (€17) and the elegant grilled broccolini draped in cacio e pepe sauce (€15). While the neighboring table turns heads with its silver-tray paccheri with lobster (€55), the indulgent spaghetti and meatballs hold their own — especially when showered tableside with freshly grated Parmigiano (€28). Also worth noting: a rare and perfectly executed ossobuco (€26), a classic Milanese veal chop (€48) and a wood-fired beef tagliata (€36).
For dessert, the torta al limone (€14) or Italian-style gelato (€13) pair perfectly with one of the eight signature Martinis on offer: Vesper, Porn Star, Espresso, Pistacchio and more.
Open every day for lunch and dinner, until 2am.
Also worth discovering: the new stylish osteria by Big Mamma, and Madonna, the Milanese restaurant lighting up Paris’s 9th arrondissement.
