When two friends take over a wine bar to give it a fresh new energy, the result is one of the coziest and most refined spots in Le Marais. After major renovations and the arrival of a new chef, Vingt Vins d’Art, already renowned for its wine and sake selections, has transformed into a true restaurant that feels both elegant and welcoming. A new gem that’s guaranteed to make your mouth water!
From wine bar to restaurant

Same name, but a brand-new identity. To refresh this former Marais institution and longtime musicians’ hangout, Etienne and Benjamin chose to preserve the artistic soul and friendly spirit of the place. What’s new ? In addition to its focus on wine and sake, the venue now fully operates as a restaurant. The transformation was designed by Kim Leou, architect and friend of the two owners. Warm tones, wooden furniture, and stone-covered walls set the scene, along with an open kitchen that lets aromas drift through the space and allows curious guests to watch the chef at work.
The exhibition space has also been preserved and entrusted to Magna Gallery Paris, a gallery specializing in Asian contemporary art and responsible for the artistic curation of the Mandarin Oriental. The result is striking : a space where you instantly feel at ease, blending contemporary, natural, and Asian influences that make you want to linger over your meal for as long as possible.

French cuisine with Korean accents

At the helm of the open kitchen is Korean chef Ji-Hye Park, known for her restaurant OMA (= “mom” in Korean). Her mission ? To create delicious dishes that elevate the natural wines and sakes on the menu. She crafts comforting, generous plates with subtle Korean influences, evolving with the seasons. Current highlights include marinated line-caught mackerel (€17), baked eggs with Parmesan (€11), and homemade foie gras (€18). Then come the heartier dishes, such as a rich cauliflower steak gratinated with Comté (€21) or a comforting pot-au-feu (€27). Our absolute favorite ? The iconic OMA rice – a true hug in a bowl – mixed with slow-cooked beef, a soft-boiled egg, and toasted nori sheets (€22). Stir well before tasting for pure comfort food bliss. To finish on a sweet note, the brie with trumpet mushrooms and gochujang (€12) and the chocolate ganache (€8) are musts.
Of course, everything is perfectly paired with a glass of wine or sake from their carefully curated selection. The cherry on top ? At lunchtime, the excellent value set menu offers a starter, main, and dessert for €24, inspired by the chef’s daily creations. What more could you ask for ?
