The haute couture exhibition

At the time of fast fashion, when Zara, H&M and co knock out clothes like baker buns, Haute Couture is in the spotlight at Hôtel de Ville featured in a superb exhibition that pays homage to the work and  the excellence of behind the scenes workers, known as “the little hands”.

From the silhouettes scribbled by Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent or Karl Lagerfeld to the amazing dresses made in precious fabrics, embroidered with pearls, de feathers of Swarovski crystals, the entire elaboration process of these precious costumes, worthy of real works of art.

We like : all the history of Haute Couture retraced through hundred outfits amongst which the first dresses of Worth, the famous pleats of Madame Grès and the sculptural dresses of Thierry Mugler.
