Gloria, the new fancy osteria by Big Mamma

Big Mamma strikes again! After the success of its hotspots in Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, London, and even Milan, the group that reinvented Italian dining has opened its most ambitious location yet  right in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The promise? Pure Italian flair, a bold 70s-inspired interior with zebra carpet, and the feeling of stepping inside Gianni Versace’s glamorous hideout. Truffle pasta, cacio e pepe, gambero rosso, wild cocktails… Andiamo!

A 70’s Milanese Villa Atmosphere

Arrivederci to the festive and casual spirit, and buongiorno to this refined, upscale new gem signed by Big Mamma. Tucked away on the ultra-chic Rue de Lille, the new Parisian osteria takes over the former Maison des Dames des Postes, Télégraphes et Téléphones, enhancing its already iconic Art Deco aura. Once you climb the impressive entrance steps, a true journey back in time unfolds, in a setting worthy of the most stunning Milanese villas of the 1970s.

You’ll instantly want to recreate the interior at home: furniture crafted by Italian design masters paired with unique vintage pieces, golden mirrors, and monumental chandeliers by Jacopo Foggini casting a soft and glamorous glow across the room. Our design crushes go to the zebra-patterned carpet, bold yet timeless,  and the thousands of vinyls displayed along the walls, giving Gloria that extra couture-meets-arty spirit. Bellissimo.

High-Quality Italian Classics

On the plate, expect a parade of authentic Italian flavors made with top-quality ingredients. Here, it’s basta to pizza! The antipasti and crudi set the tone right away with a carpaccio of gamberi topped with foie gras shavings (€30), a beef tartare with mushrooms and truffle (€27), or a creamy burratina served with basil cream (€15). And because Italy always means pasta, there’s no resisting the pillowy-soft gnocchi with black truffle (€35) — or white truffle (€55) for the ultimate treat — as well as the perfectly al dente cacio e pepe (€21), peppery just the way we love them. Classics that never go out of style.

A special mention goes to the desserts, as generous as the Italian spirit: a chocolate and hazelnut tart (€14), a perfectly caramelized tarte tatin (€13), or the iconic affogato (€9), ideal to finish on a sweet note. Our ultimate crush: the molten chocolate soufflé with pistachio ice cream (€18), a dream we’re already craving again. And to elevate the experience, pair it all with a wildly creative cocktail such as the Pesto Dry Martini (€15), the Burrata Gin Ramos (€14), or the Glam Ugo Spritz (€13). Salute!
