Summer is just around the corner, and with it comes the desire to stay active without compromising our mental well-being. The good news? Paris’ most innovative fitness studios are reinventing the workout experience with fluid, mindful, and highly effective concepts. From hybrid Pilates and sculpting Reformer sessions to holistic yoga practices, here are three fitness experiences we tested and loved for building a stronger body and a calmer mind this summer.
Between Cardio and Pilates

The Studio. Located just steps from Trocadéro, The Method welcomes fitness lovers into a pastel pink space with serious "clean girl" energy.
The Class to Try. Blending cardio and Pilates, The Method’s signature LSD class breaks all the traditional fitness rules. Inspired by barre Pilates, this hybrid workout combines deep muscle strengthening with low-impact cardio sequences. If you're tired of endless jumping jacks but still want to burn calories while moving to Britney Spears, this class is for you.
The Promise. Every sequence targets the deep stabilizing muscles, improving core strength, posture, and endurance. The pace remains challenging yet controlled, delivering a unique post-workout feeling: a powerful endorphin rush without the stress of high-impact exercise.
The Result. A toned body, improved posture, and a lighter mindset.
The Method, 112 Avenue Kléber, Paris 16th arrondissement. Online booking available.
Sculpt and Strengthen with Pilates Reformer

The Studio. Near the Bourse district, Kore Studio offers a sleek minimalist setting enhanced by dark tones and neon lighting designed to maximize concentration and movement precision.
The Class to Try. This is Pilates Reformer at its most refined and demanding. Using specialized reformer machines, each movement is guided by spring resistance, creating a highly controlled and effective workout. Expert instructors provide gentle yet motivating guidance throughout the session.
The Promise. Alignment, breathing, and muscle engagement are at the heart of this 45-minute full-body workout. Every movement flows seamlessly, creating deep muscular activation without sudden impact. It's easy to see why so many become addicted to this practice.
The Result. A more sculpted physique, improved posture, and the rewarding feeling of having worked every muscle without putting unnecessary strain on the body.
Kore Studio, 103 Rue Réaumur, Paris 2nd arrondissement.Introductory class: €35. Packages from €125 (3 classes). Online booking available.
Yin Yoga: The Ultimate Practice for Letting Go

The Studio. At Maison Ora, small groups of just five to six participants create an intimate and calming atmosphere. Warm orange lighting, soft sounds, and a peaceful environment encourage complete relaxation from the moment you arrive.
The Class to Try. Yin Yoga at Maison Ora feels like a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Unlike dynamic yoga styles, Yin Yoga focuses on slow, deep stretches with poses held for several minutes. The body gradually opens while the nervous system finally gets a chance to slow down.
The Promise. Performance is left at the door. Participants hold poses for extended periods, focus on their breath, and allow the body to release built-up tension naturally. As muscles soften and connective tissues lengthen, the mind settles into a state of deep calm.
The Result. A profound feeling of lightness and balance, as if everything has gently fallen back into place—both physically and emotionally.
Maison Ora, 8 Rue du Cardinal Mercier, Paris 9th arrondissement.Single session: €55 -
3 sessions: €110 - 10 sessions: €370. Online booking available.
