Tartiflette with Tomme and Reblochon
« The cold weather has arrived and increases the calories in our plates », so head for your ovens to feed the hungry fashionistas back from the sales with a dual cheese « tartiflette » Alpine specialty.
Step 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them up in small cubes.
Step 2. Mince the onions
Step 3. Pan fry the onions and the bacon bits.
Step 4. Add the white wine and set aside.
Step 5. Pan fry the potatoes until they are golden brown, for about 15 minutes.
Step 6. Add pepper (not salt) and set aside.
Step 7. In an oven dish, pour the potatoes, the onions and the bacon bits.
Step 8. Place half a Reblochon cheese one side of the dish (crust part towards the top) and slices of Tomme on the other side.
Step 9. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Step 10. Serve with a salad.
