Star of social media, the Airfryer has taken over our kitchens as the miracle appliance that fries without a single drop of oil — and in record time. But after a day that feels like a marathon, the question remains: what’s for dinner tonight ? The Queen of the Airfryer, Audrey Chocmiel, is back with her third book, 101 plats du soir express , featuring simple, family-friendly recipes for every budget. We fell in love with the comforting recipe for her “childhood emmental pasta gratin,” guaranteed to bring back delicious memories. Simply irresistible!
Ingredients
Prep time (serves 4) : 5 min – Cook time: 20 min
- 450 g pasta
- 200 ml light thick cream
- 2 eggs
- Fresh curly parsley
- 200 g grated Emmental
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- Salt, pepper
Recipe
- Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling water according to package directions. Reserve a ladle of cooking water before draining.
- In a bowl, whisk together the cream, eggs, chopped parsley, and 150 g of Emmental. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper, then stir in the reserved cooking water.
- Pour the sauce over the pasta in a gratin dish, mix well, and bake for 10 minutes at 180 °C.
- Sprinkle the remaining Emmental on top and bake for an additional 4 minutes until golden. Dinner is ready!
Depending on your Airfryer’s power, you may need to extend the cooking time slightly.
Audrey Chocmiel’s tip: “I sometimes add diced ham to the pasta. And if I have leftover roast chicken… that’s the ultimate upgrade!”
