Dior eggs: the most fashionable (and easy) dish to make your guests

Do you know Christian Dior eggs ? The Relais Plaza , located right in front of Christian Dior's first house , was his canteen. The great couturier was a foodie before his time… Obsessed with good things, he even wrote an original notebook of his own recipes.

As a tribute to this loyal neighborly friendship, the brasserie at the Plaza Athénée , run by Alain Ducasse , still serves exclusively to a few Dior customers the favorite recipes of the genius of couture. Confidence for confidence, the kitchen teams have agreed to reveal one of his favorite dishes.

For 10 people


  • Harden the eggs, cut them in half lengthwise.

  • Remove the yolks and reserve three.

  • Mix the remaining yolks with the peeled shrimps, having previously crushed the yolks with a fork and bound with the mayonnaise.

  • Stuff the whites.

  • Place the eggs on the serving dish and powder with the three yolks, passed through a sieve.

The little extra? Serve the eggs on a plate with a toile de Jouy Dior print, to perfect the obsession.
