So chic! To celebrate Bastille Day in style, the mythical palace on Avenue Montaigne has organized a very chic and good humoured unusual brunch.
Windows wide open, lush terrace and Chinese lanterns: the atmosphere is joyful. Whether it’s breads or charcuterie, the entire team of Alain Ducasse at the Plaza Athénée has stepped out of the kitchens to put the spotlight on their typical Frenchie know-how with amazing buffets and Made in France specialties.
On the programme of treats
Champagne, drinks and Alain Ducasse spreads are all brought to the tables.
Then, you can tour the savoury workshops for tastings…! In terms of bakery: viennoiseries, sliced kougelhopf, chocolate brioche, olive breads, salty with herbs.
From the greengrocers, the accent is on freshness: pea houmous with mint, old fashioned tomatoes and brousse from Roves, rolls galore, avocado toasts & co. Ideal to accompany top notch charcuterie or the incredible cheese platter.
Otherwise? A sushi-bar, ceviches, an à la plancha bar, scrambled eggs, an exceptional selection of fruit, roast beef sauce tartare…
Pastry chef Angelo Mussa also went all out with 100% French desserts: small strawberry tarragon tart, Paris-Brest, chocolate éclair—without forgetting waffles and ice cream.
