Your Sunday Anti-Blues Program

Finding the motivation to get out of bed on Sunday morning can be tough. However, there is no shortage of fun and relaxing activities in Paris! We've discovered ways to reenergize you, from unique dance and yoga classes to a quirky brunch with drag queens, a "splunch" in a beautiful Parisian hotel, workshops offered by Funbooker and Wecandoo, the comedy club at Chouchou Hotel, and even a Shiatsu session at Assa Spa. The result: we can't wait for Sunday!

Boosting your Sunday morning

How about starting your day with an early, festive, and sporty happy hour at La Felicità with the lively team from Heures Joyeuses? The concept is super cool: gather your friends, meet at 10 a.m. for a cardio and aerobics session to a thematic soundtrack (70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s...), and then hit the dance floor in your best fuchsia lycra! Emmanuelle Van Lith, the founder who discovered the concept of sober rave parties in Australia, and her exuberantly dressed colleagues (for a Sunday morning!), welcome guests with a shot of ginger, smoothies, coffee, and tea, all with no obligation. Fun accessories and glitter are provided to enhance this gym session worthy of Véronique and Davina. The motto is simple: being ridiculous is cool, so let's go all out—laugh, endure, sing, dance, and leave energized with endorphins!

Les Heures Joyeuses, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at La Felicita, Paris 13. €25, online reservation.

Trying out trapeze yoga

The divine Chloé Brasé, a therapeutic yoga specialist, was the first to introduce trapeze yoga classes in Paris—a fun and fantastic practice to challenge yourself, work on upper body strength, flexibility, and release tension in the back and neck. Work on your postures using a hammock and handles, go at your own pace without pressure, surprise yourself, and progress from session to session. Join her new pop-up in Neuilly-sur-Seine every Sunday until March 4, and later in other locations in Paris.

Chita Studio, 134 Rue Perronet, Neuilly-sur-Seine. €22 for a trial class, €30 for a single class, €120 for 5 classes, and €220 for 10 classes. Information and online reservations.

Brunching with Drag Queens

Every Sunday, the Italian restaurant Wanted, on the Canal Saint-Martin, hosts Brunch & Queens. The concept? A massive Italian brunch with unlimited pasta, pizza, penis-shaped treats, salads, tiramisu, and chocolate mousse, animated by a lively duo of drag queens who wake up the hungover crowd. The added value: engaging activities, including an epic blind test to win a bottle of Prosecco, sing-along refrains, and various battles. Shy people need not apply!

The Brunch & Queen at Wanted, 46 bis rue de Meaux, Paris 10th. Brunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in 2-hour shifts, €38. Information and online reservations.

Participating in a DIY workshop

Trust Funbooker and Wecandoo workshops to offer cool and original activities to do with friends, as a couple, or solo. The Do It Team has selected the most inspiring ones:

- Try kintsugi: this Japanese art involves beautifying broken objects (plates, bowls, trays, etc.) with gold powder, silver, or colored lacquer (€65).

- Create your own leather bag: in a studio workshop, Tiffany guides participants in handcrafting a leather bag using the saddle stitch technique (€135).

- Paint while brunching: with this workshop, simply grab a paintbrush in one hand and a fork in the other to create your painting while enjoying avocado toast, pain au chocolat, and other treats (€49).

- Craft a mosaic artwork: piece by piece, assemble different ceramic tiles following the expert advice of a professional mosaic artist (€50).

Having a movie session in a palace

Now is the perfect time to treat yourself to a little luxury at the Royal Monceau Raffles-Paris, to reconcile with life. Experience something worthy of billionaire socialites on a Sunday afternoon, with or without the kids (the Sunday program focuses on cult cartoons from our childhood)... Here's how: arrive at 2:45 p.m. at the Royal Monceau and head to their luxurious private screening room where all Hollywood stars have access when they're in Paris. After being offered a glass of champagne in the lounge adjacent to this very VIP cinema, snuggle up in front of a feel-good movie like The Little Mermaid or Toy Story 4 with a cone of popcorn signed by Quentin Lechat, Prince, and Snickers revisited in palace style: there's no better feel-good therapy...

Royal Film Club at the Royal Monceau, 37 Avenue Hoche, Paris 8th. Once a month screening at 3 p.m. Tickets at €25 for children, €45 for adults (champagne + popcorn + movie). Information and online reservations.

Booking a Shiatsu session

In the height of elegance in Saint-Germain-des-Prés: if girly atmospheres and oriental hammams aren't your thing, here's an ultra-bright place with a very luxurious, calm, and voluptuous spirit where they advocate the Rolls-Royce of Japanese well-being. The signature treatment? Shiatsu (€85 for 45 minutes), an extraordinary massage that rebalances energies along meridians connected to organs through which vital energy circulates. Also loved: foot reflexology (€110 per hour). Top: the spa is open until 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Assa, 8 Rue Christine, Paris 6th. 01 46 34 59 08. Open every day from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. Information and online reservations.
