The best cold drinks to grab in Paris

What better way to survive a Parisian heatwave than with a perfectly chilled drink in hand? Whether you're a latte lover, matcha addict, or iced tea fan, the Do It Team has explored the city to round up our ultimate summer crushes.

Iced Heukimja Latte – Café Shin

When chef Julien Sebbag teams up with pastry chef Eun Jung Shin Akrich to launch a Korean-inspired coffee shop, it’s bound to be a hit. One standout: the Iced Heukimja Latte (€7), a silky blend of black sesame cream and coffee that has us hooked.

Café Shin, 47 rue des Petites Écuries, Paris 10th. Open Tue–Fri 8:30am–6pm, Sat–Sun 11am–7pm.

Spicy Iced Latte – Nami

Looking for a booze-free twist on your favorite Spicy Margarita? Head to Nami, the cozy new café near rue Saint-Denis from the team behind Vague (Batignolles). Their Spicy Iced Latte (€7) combines espresso, milk, maple syrup and a hint of chili. Unexpected and addictive.

Nami, 145 rue Saint-Denis, Paris 2nd. Open Mon–Fri 8am–6:30pm, weekends 10am–7pm.

Strawberry Matcha Latte – Kiji

Kiji is the new go-to for matcha lovers, right by Opéra. Their signature Strawberry Matcha Latte is made with your choice of dairy or plant-based milk, topped with a strawberry purée for the ultimate Japanese-style treat.

Kiji, 5 rue Gaillon, Paris 2nd. Open daily from 8:30am to 7pm.

Yuzu Lemonade at Café Coutume

Of course, Coutume has made coffee its specialty. But at its new coffee shop inside Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann—the perfect stop between shopping sessions—you can grab the house-made yuzu lemonade / juice / soda / kombucha (€7). It's the ideal pairing for the exquisite pastries by François Daubinet, including his iconic Orchidée, a delicate dessert made with Tahitian vanilla and white coffee.

François Daubinet at Café Coutume Galeries Lafayette, Magasin Coupole – 2nd floor, 40 boulevard Haussmann, Paris 9th. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 8pm, and Sundays and public holidays from 11am to 8pm.

Iced Maple Hojicha Latte – Café Berry

Hojicha—the roasted Japanese green tea—shines in Café Berry’s summer menu. Their Iced Maple Hojicha Latte (€7) is smooth, nutty, and mellowed with maple syrup. A true editorial favorite.

Café Berry, 10 rue Chapon, Paris 3rd. Open Mon–Fri 9:30am–5pm, weekends 10am–5:30pm.

Fizz Sparkling Drinks – Café Kitsuné

One of Paris’ most stylish cafés, Café Kitsuné is known for its Insta-famous fizz drinks (€6). This year’s lineup includes Yuzu & White Peach, Strawberry & Basil, Blueberry & Elderflower, Matcha Cucumber, and Grapefruit & Rosemary.

Available at all Paris Café Kitsuné locations (except Vertbois, closed all summer).

Peach Iced Tea – Lactem

At Lactem, the cozy café near Grands Boulevards (where you can literally sit in a bathtub), baristas are serving a freshly brewed Peach Iced Tea—ideal for a post-lunch cool-down. Also available at their Palais-Royal location.
