A Royal Tea Time at the Four Seasons George V

When the freezing cold comes hand in hand with a festive Christmas atmosphere and the smell of a log fire in Paris, there's only one obsession guiding our steps: to nestle in a beautiful place and indulge in a royal tea time. Bingo: the Four Seasons George V and its pastry chef Michael Bartocetti have crafted a tailor-made one for the holiday season with a variety of deliciously sweet treats.

You can't get more chic than this palace afternoon tea served in the marvelous rooms of the Orangerie or the Gallery of the hotel. On the menu: the chocolate log unveiled in preview, followed by a reimagined Baba with mulled wine topped with a creamy Christmas spice-infused sauce. The tea time continues with a refreshing citrus-flavored baked Alaska, a reinterpretation of the chocolate tart embellished with Piedmont hazelnuts and white truffle from Alba, an apple shortbread, and a sweet cheesecake tart.

For the grand finale: a very generous puff pastry Stollen, the chef's favorite dessert that reminds him of his Lorraine roots. All accompanied by a glass of champagne and, of course, unlimited hot drinks.
