Hollywood Savoy: A Chic Restaurant with a Hidden Private Club

The Hollywood Savoy restaurant and club in Paris

If Paris is a party, then Fitz Group has turned it into its favorite playground. After the successes of Vesper, Abstinence, and Fitzgerald, the group has now taken the reins of a long-dormant venue that once had Paris dancing in the '80s: Hollywood Savoy, situated opposite the Palais Brongniart. What’s the vibe? A sophisticated decor, divine cocktails, vibrant dishes, and even a basement club for dancing until 2 AM.

THE NEW SOCIAL HOTSPOT

Fitz Group’s trademark? Bringing together the perfect ratio of stylish forty-somethings, the golden youth, and passing VIPs. Its opening night attracted its fair share of stars (Joey Starr and Hafsia Herzi among them), and groups of stylish women are already sharing the scoop. The place has an immediate wow factor, compelling guests to share it on Instagram. With sconces, mirrors, light fixtures, wood paneling, golden velvet, and leopard-print carpets, architect Sophie Lacroix (Dandino, Siena) had free rein to revitalize this forgotten institution with a Gatsby-compatible vibe, clearly inspired by Art Deco. By day, the beauty is enhanced by views of the Bourse through large windows.

ELEGANT DRINKS, DAZZLING DISHES

 Hollywood Savoy menu

Our recommendation? Start with a custom cocktail crafted by David, the inspired bartender who shakes up magical potions to suit your evening mood. If you prefer something more classic, opt for a Negroni (€17) or an Espresso Martini (€17), which are definite crowd-pleasers.

Then discover the menu overseen by TV chef Grégory Cohen, who offers refined yet straightforward cuisine, delivering the essentials that the well-heeled crowd seeks. Begin with a top-notch lobster roll on perfectly brioche bread (€34), which can be shared alongside a silky langoustine carpaccio (€21). For those feeling indulgent, the cheesy smash burger with a decadent serving of fries arrives on a classy gold-edged plate resembling a posh TV dinner tray (€32). Meanwhile, the tender royal bream comes with fennel and infused beurre blanc (€34), not to mention a sexy side of creamy mashed potatoes (€8). Still have room for dessert? Go for the warm rice pudding topped with salted caramel sauce (€14).

A Discreet Private Club in the Basement

The hollywood savoy club in Paris

You'll need to put your best foot forward to gain entry into the hidden mini-private club in the basement, where a discreet atmosphere awaits. This space is also available for private events. Downstairs, you’ll find a cocktail bar and a DJ catering to a select group of about fifty people who can enjoy drinks and dance in a refined setting. The decor flips the style of the upper level: Art Deco carpets on the floor, animal-print velvet on the seats, and gorgeous drapes that envelop the room, giving it an almost otherworldly ambiance.

Open from Monday to Saturday, 11:30 AM to 2:00 AM.
