The Raphael's Boudoir : A Timeless Jewel

If you needed another reason to return to the Raphael, we have it ! Paris's most elegant and discreet 5-star hotel has just unveiled, within its plush walls, its new delicately named restaurant, The Boudoir. Maximum desirability with two talents in the cast : Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal, who has crafted the menu, and designer Cordélia de Castellane, who has left her stylish mark on the decor. Chic, inevitably.

Intimate and Cosy Glamour

Just step onto the thick carpet with oversized flowers and cast your eyes wherever you turn to immerse yourself in a bath of colors. The Boudoir instantly charms you. Pure elegance, in line with the creations of designer Cordélia de Castellane (Artistic Director of Dior Maison and Baby Dior, recently behind the decor of the Abbey of Vaux de Cernay), who has managed to imprint in this plush cocoon a style skillfully navigating between the old and the modern. Comfort takes center stage with sofas and armchairs that you won't want to leave, enveloping woodwork, and perfect lighting. At The Boudoir, tables are clothed, plates display a triumphant R in the center, and the waitstaff, in suits, are attentive. True luxury. Hurry ! You only have a few weeks left to enjoy this place before the splendid rooftop Jardin du Raphaël opens its doors and steals the show before autumn returns.

Refined french cuisine

It was a wise choice to cast Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal to craft the menu of The Boudoir. Well done, Moma Group, for continuing your consultancy mission with Hotel Raphael. While he focused on the classics of Parisian brasserie to create his menu, Akrame added a touch of cheekiness to singularize his dishes and pay tribute to indulgence. And ? It's genuinely successful.

That evening...

Ah, the onion soup opens the dance of starters on the menu (€16)! But for us, it will be the snails, as in Burgundy, which arrive lively and verdant in a cast iron casserole : delicious (€14). And the irresistible caviar, here placed on a cloud-like French toast and topped with waves of mascarpone : what delicacy ! (€46). Next, the beautiful sole meunière and its smoked butter, prepared in fillets before our eyes (€64), and a ribeye steak, with perfectly cooked maître d'hôtel butter (€50). A creamy mashed potato with toasted hazelnuts and steamed broccolini with fresh herbs gracefully accompany the dishes. And for the finale, brace yourself for a big "wow" in front of the impertinent rice pudding that arrives on a silver platter escorted by five toppings, whose description we will keep silent to leave the surprise intact : magnificent (€16)!

Open from Monday to Sunday from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and from 7 PM to 10:30 PM.

Also discover the new gourmet table that aristocratizes the 11th arrondissement and the new Michelin stars that have seduced us.
