The « sausage-mashed potatoes» of Lazare

Restaurant Lazare

In the category « Granny’s dish» with a great chef twist, the Proust madeleine wins all the votes.

Not surprising since this ultra-comfy dish is served at Lazare, the upscale train station brasserie of the great Fréchon (tree-star chef at the Bristol).

Imagine a very upscale Morteau sausage served with home made mashed potatoes, juice and a touch of thyme… For sure this will awaken the glamour potential of retro in 2 minutes flat.

We adore: being able to check the recipe for “saucisse-purée” in the great cookbook «  Le LAZARE ». A great gift idea!

Saucisse purée every saturday (19€)
