Papa Sapiens, the fine grocery store is finally opening its store!

Papa Sapiens

The papa sapiens tribe is extending. We already knew the two terrific fine grocery stores (7th ant 17th), filled with small marvels picked from top notch artisans and producers. Also very well supplied, the new address located near the Bourse also offers to host diners.

Quite a natural evolution...

So now it’s possible to actually sit down and dig into a fab croque-madame (€16 ), tartare (€20 ) and carpaccio ( €20 €) by Alexandre Polmard considered the in-house Saint Laurent, a veggie plate (€12 ), a sinful crème caramel (€6), of blackberries served directly from the dish into the plate (€8)... In the evening, you start buzzing with olives from Sicily (€4) and an eggplant caviar (€9) along with burrata (€14) served with focaccia and a glass of black pinot noir from Burgundy (€7) or Chardonnay (6 €).

Plates are voluntarily natural in order to enhance the “product”. Because, as you may have understood, chef Clément Flumian (ex-Neva, Bernard Loiseau, L’Astrance) picks his products directly from the next door grocery store. As for us, we return home with our jam and our saucisson under the arm.

Interieur du restaurant et epicerie

We love: the decor that cleverly rustic with contemporary. A large wooden communal table, family photos of the producers, design hanging light fixtures, amusing pipes.

The plus: sandwiches prepared on the spot for a quick nibble.
