The new “Fais pas ci, Fais pas ça” with Lorànt Deutsch

Qu Est Ce Qu On Attend Pour Etre Heureux M6

Do you miss the tribulations of the Lepic and Boulay ? M6 has come out with their kid sister! What are we waiting for to be happy? A perfect family comedy in en six episodes written by the author of "Fais pas ci fais ça"on the exile of a Parisian couple to the suburbs, with the most Parisian actor, parigot des Lorànt Deutsch in the leading role.

Is there a life beyond the périphérique ?

Parisian in their thirties looking for greenery, Romain, psychologist, and Anna, his actress wife, pregnant with their first child, have decided to go live in the burbs. Spotlight on Joilleux, a charming town in the Yvelines located 40 minutes by car from Paris… and far from any Monop’ open after 7pm (#anxiety). While Romain is looking forward to strolls through the forest, Anna, a die-hard Parisienne, is on the verge of a breakdown after one week. Normal: her mother in law is constantly in their house and the neighbour, M. Deville walks around nude in his garden. Their new friends, Fred, a local real estate agent moves around on a hoverboard. Séverine, housewife and aspiring decorator and Daniel Poirot, the hanger on old school buddy, are delighted to see these new BBQ companions show up. Who said the suburbs were boring?

We like

Adapted from a successful Swedish fiction and signed Anne Giafferi (author of the excellent "Fais pas ci, Fais pas ça"), this series that has a fragrance of brick stone houses and lilac trees does not avoid clichés. Not always subtle, for sure, but certain sketches are really amusing and one quickly gets attached to the characters.

Lorànt Deutsch in the leading art is perfect, surrounded by a clever casting … Starting with Jeanne Bournaud, the up and coming blonde – perfect in the caricature of a bourgeoise concerned with humanity – and Sébastien Castro (terrific and unrecognizable). Added to this, there is a list of guests stars that one always enjoys seeing on the screen: François Morel, Jacky Berroyer, Julien Boisselier

Verdict

A very Frenchy comedy that is not a revolution but truly amusing.

On the 13th of June at 9pm on M6.
