Autumn is here! Between Fashion Week, Art Basel, the launch of major exhibitions and brand-new shows, October sounds like a promise. This month’s agenda features a Louis Vuitton anniversary exhibition, movie nights at the Louvre, highly desirable fashion collabs, a healthy dose of solidarity with Pink October, and of course a chance to wander among today’s most bankable contemporary artists. Enough to almost make you forget this summer’s palm trees…
Savor the French Art de Vivre
At the same time as the Semaine du Goût, the Publicisdrugstore, gourmet stronghold of Eric Frechon, is about to light up the Champs-Élysées with the first edition of the Food & Wine Festival, a true ode to the French art de vivre. For lovers of beauty and good taste, a program full of encounters and flavors awaits!
Among the highlights: signature dishes by Éric Frechon (who is, of course, behind the initiative) such as macaroni stuffed with black truffle or line-caught whiting in a bread crust, not to mention 2.0 reinterpretations of the Publicisdrugstore’s club sandwich and Caesar salad, revisited by Charlie Anne and Grégoire Touchard, contestants from the latest season of Top Chef.
But that’s not all: endless tastings of dishes and desserts by Eric Bouchenoire and Claire Heitzler, masterclasses, a gala dinner orchestrated by the legendary Bande du Crillon, film screenings… And the surprises don’t stop at sunset! The most beautiful avenue in the world will pulse at night to the rhythm of DJ sets, accompanying mixology masterclasses hosted by shaker virtuoso Matthias Giroud. An eclectic program, united by one common passion: the love of good living!
Food & Wine Festival at PublicisDrugstore, 133 avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris 8e. From October 11th to 19th. Masterclasses by reservation.

See Life in Pink This October
As every year, October turns pink to support research and all those affected by cancer, through special collections and events that donate proceeds to related associations. For the fifth consecutive year, Aubade joins forces with Ruban Rose, unveiling two post-surgery bras co-created with Juliette Moreau, a physiotherapist specialized in senology, along with Camille and Sylvane, two women who have undergone mastectomy. Because combining comfort and femininity is possible, 10% of sales are donated to the association. Don’t miss the Les Heures Roses evening at the Aubade flagship on October 16 (6–10 pm, 23 rue Tronchet, Paris 8e. Online booking required). The program includes manicures, treatments, bra-fitting, and inspiring encounters. To go further, Virgilia Hess has created an educational video reminding us of simple prevention gestures.
Throughout October, the legendary Molitor dons pink in support of the Institut Gustave Roussy. Each evening, Paris’s chicest pool lights up in pink as a symbol of solidarity. On the indulgence side: the Jardin d’Hiver restaurant goes into Pink Emotion tea time mode, serving the Raspberry Bloom cocktail and a signature dessert. The commitment continues at Europe’s largest spa with one-hour massages: Équilibre (€180), Tonic for a boost, or Relax to unwind. With each treatment, €2 is donated to research. For a fashion touch, pick up Pink Icon patches (€25) designed by Djohr, to wear proudly!
For six years, Isabelle Prat, founder of La Môme Bijou, has dedicated her talent to Octobre Rose. This year, she revisits her iconic pieces such as the Joy Letters necklace inscribed with “ROSE” in gold-plated letters on a pink cord. She has also imagined a ribbon-knot necklace, a universal symbol of this fight, along with “We are all Heroes” bracelets—a nod to David Bowie’s cult song. These bold and symbolic creations donate 100% of profits to the Ruban Rose association.
Relive the Revolution and the Empire at the Louvre
Who hasn’t dreamed of spending an evening in the most beautiful museum in the world? On the occasion of its new exhibition dedicated to revolutionary painter Jacques Louis David, author of the famous Serment du Jeu de Paume, the mythical Musée du Louvre opens the doors of its auditorium for eleven cinema screenings: De David à Kubrick. From Jean Renoir to Stanley Kubrick, including a documentary by Patric Jean on Napoleon, art and debates challenge our vision of the past and our national narratives through two founding myths: the French Revolution and the First Empire.
The cinema series kicks off in style on Friday, October 17, with an opening night attended by Marisa Berenson, featuring a restored screening of Barry Lyndon by Stanley Kubrick, marking the film’s 50th anniversary. Following on: L’Anglaise et le Duc (Éric Rohmer) on October 18 at 2 pm, or Un peuple et son roi (Pierre Schoeller) the same day at 8 pm. After this, you may never look at cinema the same way again.
De David à Kubrick at the Musée du Louvre (8 rue Sainte-Anne, Paris 1st). October 17–26. Full price: €10, reduced: €7, youth and solidarity rate: €5.

GANNI x New Balance: The two brands merge their worlds to create the 1906L, a hybrid between sneaker and loafer. A desirable design that reinvents sportswear codes with the chic of a loafer, in a relaxed and ultra-trendy version.
Reformation x Nara Smith: Following the trail of the fascinating influencer Nara Smith is like time traveling with a modern twist. The brand teams up with the it-mom for a capsule that perfectly reflects her retro-glam vibe. Take a (Georges de La) Tour at the Musée Jacquemart-André
It’s been nearly a year since the magnificent Musée Jacquemart-André reopened after renovations! Following the success of its last exhibition on Italian painter Artemisia Gentileschi, the museum now honors French painter Georges de La Tour starting September 11th.
Never heard of him? Normal: this 17th-century master, once recognized as official painter of Louis XIII, fell into obscurity after his death before being rediscovered in the 20th century. This first retrospective since the Grand Palais in 1997 will delight Caravaggio fans. While La Tour learned from the Italian master, his art reinterprets chiaroscuro, radical realism, and spirituality in modern yet timeless compositions.
The exhibition brings together over thirty paintings and drawings, plus several saint busts. Highlights? The Newborn and The Pipe Blower, loaned by the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum, showcasing La Tour’s mastery of light as the true “painter of flame.”
GEORGES DE LA TOUR – Between Shadow and Light, September 11th to January 25th, 2026. Musée Jacquemart-André, 158 boulevard Haussmann, Paris 8e. Open daily 10am–6pm.
Discover Printemps’ Free Handbag Exhibition

Spread across 800 m² and twelve sections, the expo showcases 200 iconic or emerging designs — from Lemaire, Coperni, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and more. Some practical, some micro, futuristic, beaded, odd-shaped, or straight-up art pieces.
Bonus: leather goods workshops on select Saturdays (Sept 6, Oct 4 & 18, online booking) to learn how to care for your favorite bag. Starting September 17th, stop by the brand-new Christophe Michalak coffee shop at Printemps Homme for cake, latte, or custom-made madeleines.

Explore Friendship at Théâtre Montparnasse
It was already a cult play 30 years ago — and the actors were too! The ex-Deschiens from Canal+ — Olivier Saladin, Olivier Broche, and François Morel (also directing) — revive Yasmina Reza’s Art at Théâtre Montparnasse.
The plot? Serge buys a minimalist contemporary artwork — a blank canvas — for €40,000. His old friend Marc ridicules the purchase, straining their friendship. Their third friend Yvan tries to mediate and save their bond.
Translated into dozens of languages and awarded worldwide, Reza’s masterpiece examines friendship unraveling under social differences and time’s passage. With three real-life longtime friends playing the roles, the performance is funny, tender, and refreshingly authentic.
Art by Yasmina Reza, until December 20 at Théâtre Montparnasse, 30 rue de la Gaîté, Paris 14e.
DIY Your Own Tableware
Our crush: the fun, creative ceramic painting workshop at Céramicafé Geneviève in the 11th arrondissement. Pick your canvas — bowl, mug, or plate — then let Geneviève, Paris’s ceramic queen, teach you techniques and guide you step by step.
Once finished, your piece is fired at 1,000°C. A week later, you can take home your creation and proudly display it in your living room.
