Art and drug : l’expo choc

Pete Doherty invented nothing ! Triggers for inspiration, catalyzing or soothing, les psychoactive drugs have often influenced artists. This very transgressive exhibition comprises more than 250 works inspired, even created, under the influence of drugs. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, videos, all the supports have potential to transpose hallucinatory effects and the alteration of senses.

We like: real talk with drawings by Jean Cocteau, scribbled between two rehab cures, next to the neon citation of Jeanne Suspuglas « aspirin in the morning champagne» and the mushrooms of Takashi Murakami. Completely  wild, daily auto-portraits of Bryan Lewis Saunders created each day under the influence of another substance !

The must: pursue the experience while nibbling an incredible Rose Bakery cake. The trendy grocery store, set up in the museum, features psychedeclic posts during the show.
