This is the typically comforting recipe from the Canada that we devour every Sunday well wrapped up. In this case: ultra-fluffy waffles that play the sweet / savory card with goat cheese and nuts, obviously drizzled with Maple Joe® maple syrup .
Preparation of savory waffles
Pour the milk , flour , baking powder , eggs , salt and pepper into a blender.
Mix until obtaining a very smooth dough.
You can add small pieces of nuts in the waffle batter to give texture to the tasting.
Leave to rest for 1 hour.
Pour the batter into a traditional waffle iron and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
Arrange pieces of goat cheese log and nuts on the waffles and sprinkle with maple syrup.
