Nomade Café: the coffee-shop where to get a tattoo

Tatoo session ans gluten free pastries in Nomade café in Paris in the Marais district

Tattoo artist Pia Almondy has hidden her Les Lèvres Rouges studio in the coffee-shop she has just opened with her friend in the 11th arrondissement. You said unusual?

Back from a parenthesis all over Asia and South America, the couple felt like a place where each one could express their passion: tattoo for her and specialty coffee for him.

Ready or not?

A successful wager with Nomade Café, that immediately became the new hot spot in the district to sip a “heart” latte the filter coffee of the moment, with no gluten pastries sans gluten from L’Atelier des Lilas in a chill atmosphere: Berber carpets, cosy sofa, macramé.

On the menu: tartines of the day and the season, avocado toasts, carrot cakes, yummy cookies and a signature café latte (€4.50).

As for the tattoos, Pia hosts by appointment in the workshop at the back. Her speciality? Hands, hearts, plants, feminine motifs with a minimalist tracing.

Tattoo starting at 80.
