The most stylish “buffet de la gare” in Paris

Brunch Buffet De La Gare

When Pierre Moussié (Jeannette, le Floréal, le Parisien) relaunches the concept of a train station buffet, just a few meters from the Gare de l’Est, it becomes an immediate trendy success-story!

Here is the new foodie hangout that is creating the buzz with all the cool thirty-year old crowd and makes them cross Paris in the wee hours or late into the night, to sit down, have a few drinks (Spritz, Negroni and amazing cocktails starting at 6€), or enjoy a fab brunch and nice little dishes.

On our top list, Cantal cheese burgers (14€), fried eggs with cream of Comté and spinach (6€), an exquisite cone of ham with mayo veggies (hurray for vintage! ham croquettes (7,50€), risotto or the divine chicken-avocado salad (13€).

We like: a wonderful and ultra-luminous signature decoration with apparent copper piping, vintage neon lights, marble tables, banquettes and pretty bistro chairs, including a few green touches with the palm tree, all twisted with a modern style spirit. The heated terrace, filled with sun in the morning, also has great appeal…

Tip top: their amazing 12€ breakfast formula with an all you can eat generous buffet filled with savory daily products: pancakes, marble cakes, cheese assortments and top notch cooked ham, divine breads, financiers cakes, muesli, fresh fruit salad... Even the coffee filter is tops!

For an every day brunch (18€), choose the breakfast formula with all sorts of eggs (sunny side up, omelet, scrambled), and a daily juice worthy of the best coffee-in Miami ! Special kudos to their green detox juice on Monday.

Open every day from 8am to 2am.

Also discover Chez Minnà, the  Corsican restaurant in the spotlight.
