An ideal Hotel in Paris for foreigners
This hotel is quite small, hence all its charm, as well as its intimate ambiance! Mythical address of Old Paris l'Hôtel very quickly conquered prestigious residents amongst which Oscar Wilde, who decided to die there, or Ava Gardner, Frank Sinatra without forgetting Elisabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Amongst the 20 rooms decorated by Jacques Garcia, each one has different name and style: the Mistinguett room with its Art Deco universe and featuring furniture that decorated her original room, the Oscar Wilde room with a large fresco on the wall inspired by an engraving representing Wilde's London dining room or the penthouse suite with a view on the churches of Saint-Germain and Saint-Sulpice.
L'Hôtel also features a Michelin one-star restaurant. One comes later on in the evening to enjoy the very chic bar salon, all in velvet with alcoves that stays open until 1am.
